PLC and Ladder (LAD) Logic Diagram

A Programmable Logic Controller – PLC, also known as programmable controller, is the name given to a type of computer commonly used in commercial and industrial control applications. PLCs can differ from office computers in the types of tasks that they perform and the hardware and software they require to perform these tasks.

All PLCs monitor inputs and other variable values, make decisions based on a stored program, and control outputs to automate a process or machine.

This PLC Programming Training consist of various video sessions collected from Youtube.

    Dear Sirs/Madams,
It is one of the best websites I have come across in pursuit of PLC knowledge. It’s a big service to the engineering community. I shall try to pick whatever knowledge of PLC I could gather from this website. If possible, please keep me updated in know how wise on other brands of PLCs available in market besides that of Allen Bradley. I wish you all, All the best.

Thanks and with lots of regards,

Under the title of “Learn PLC and Ladder Diagram” those video links don’t work. I like to learn PLC programme and technics by self studying, I’m poor engineer so I don’t have money to spend for learning new thing regarding to my field. Please be kindly let me know is there any free resources available for beginners. I have already flowed “www.plcs.net/contents.shtml” on-line tutorials too.

Hello everyone, today I found a PPI multi-master cable, pc-rs232 to PPI-RS485 and S7-200 box. Searching on google to know what is the use for it, I discover it’s for PLC programming, I’m IT, now I would like to know more about it.
It’s an interesting area. STEP 7-Micro/WIN is de software to do the programming, its for that specific for SIEMENS.

if somebody could recommend any website to read about it to start the learning process i will appreciate it.

    thank you in advance.

    Hector Gordon.
