First one as a results have following values:

  • Required Lamps (Nos)
  • Required Fixture Spacing (Feet)
  • Total Kw (kW)
  • Watts per Sq.Ft
  • Energy Cost per Year

Second one (Numbers of Fixtures / Lux for Indoor Lighting) as a results have fololowing values:

  • Actual No of Fixtures
  • Actual Lux

    Dear Mr. Parmer,
    thanks for your nice work. I use couple of sheets that you have designed.

    but for the lighting, Your calculation fails when it comes to height.
    the sheet gives same result for a height of 1 meter and a height of 100 meter.

    I will be thankful if you could send me an updated version.

    I loaded the spreadsheet into OpenOfficeOrg the open source software from Apache which can read Microsoft Word and Excel files. The calculation spreadsheet crashed the program. It is not compatible. It would be great if you could make it compatible. Sorry, I can’t tell you how, as I never got the file to load without crashing the software.
