This course will explain all you need to know about soft starters. There will be a word about three-phase asynchronous motors, starting curve, and the importance of smooth start. We will discuss the difference between different starting methods and the advantages of the soft starters.

One of the essential parts of this course is an elaboration on various applications in different industries.

Why can’t we use soft starter sometimes and when frequency converters bring value to the entire process? Motor stopping will also be discussed. Many manufacturers have similar categories of soft starters.

We will go through all of them with all the crucial features and wiring diagrams. Inside delta” diagram will also be presented.

Marko is an electrical engineer with over sixteen years of experience in power systems and industrial automation. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. He is MSEE Drives and automation expert currently working in Danfos Drives. He spent over ten years in drives business worldwide. He's also an expert in low-voltage panel building design and assembly.
